An annual series of meetings aimed at broadening knowledge about outstanding expressions of contemporary architectural and urban thought, and bringing the greatest achievements of leading architectural studios closer to Polish audiences. The main speakers were stars of architecture and representatives of renowned architectural offices from around the world. The lectures are accompanied by the award ceremony of the THEORY Competition and the PRACTICE Scholarship, and a public presentation of the awarded works.

A Dutch architect and urban planner who, with Winy Maas and Jacob van Rijs, founded MVRDV — a studio renowned for innovative, Modernism-inspired projects that redefine public space. In her lecture she spoke about MVRDV’s approach to the city and the role of architecture in shaping shared space.
One of the few women among the global stars of architecture, a Stirling Prize winner and founder of the London studio AL_A (the MAAT museum in Lisbon, Central Embassy in Bangkok). She stressed the role of craft and collaboration with contractors, and the influence of architecture on contemporary urban space.
An architect of the Norwegian firm Snøhetta (the Oslo Opera House, Lascaux IV, the King Abdulaziz Centre), whose projects surprise with form and materials. She presented the ideas of creating accessible, landscape-rooted spaces, and the studio’s way of working — gender parity, teamwork and an open office.
Known as the “punk-rock architect”, she designs expressive, colourful public buildings and museums (MACRO in Rome, FRAC Bretagne, the Phantom restaurant at the Opéra Garnier) and founded the Confluence Institute school in Lyon. She spoke about her projects, teaching, and the fight for women’s equality — also in architecture.
A Danish architect creating innovative buildings set into exceptional landscapes — the Icefjord Centre in Ilulissat, Greenland (a UNESCO area) and the Wadden Sea Centre. Her lecture “In harmony with nature” explored the relationship between architecture and the natural environment.
