About the competition
The PRAKTYKA Scholarship was a three-stage programme for young architects, searching for the most interesting ideas to improve the quality of public space in selected locations across Poland. Across successive editions, participants worked on real sites — from Warsaw to Poznań.
The programme combined workshops with mentors, scholarships to develop the concepts and a public presentation of the awarded works. The best ideas were developed from an initial concept to a refined design with a cost estimate and schedule, and some of them were built.
The competition was overseen by a jury of architects and experts, and the workshops were led by lecturers from leading universities and studios. The laureates of each edition are presented in the archive below.
